6 Films Hollywood with Terrible Curse

Believe do not believe, everything that relates to mystical or myth very closely with our daily lives. Even in developed countries though, rumors or myths associated with mystical things are not inevitable. Here is a list of 6 Hollywood movie rumored to have a terrible curse. 


6. The Poltergeist

Poltergeist is a horror film trilogy was first produced in the 1980s. Steven Spielberg is the Co-Writer and Co-Producer of the first Poltergeist, by Tobe Hopper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) as the director. To Poltergeist II, directed by Brian Gibson, while Poltergeist III was directed by Gary Sherman. 
Rumors that descend curse this movie because for a period of 6 years since the making of Poltergeist Poltergeist I to III, 4 players in the film died. Two of them died young (12 and 22 years). 
These are actors who died are: 
1.) Dominique Dunne 
The actress who died at the age of 22 years, serves as Dana in the first Poltergeist film. He died from being strangled by a jealous boyfriend who was blind in 1982. 
2.) Julian Beck 
The actor, who died at the age of 60 years, served as Kane in Poltergeist II. Died in 1985 due to cancer of the stomach / colon cancer. 
3.) Will Sampson 
The actor, who died at the age of 53 years, served as Taylor in Poltergeist II. Died in 1987 due to failure in kidney surgery. 
4.) Heather O'Rourke 
The little actress who died at age 12, playing in all Poltergeist Trilogy as Carol Anne. He died in 1988, shortly before the film Poltergeist III was released. He is suspected of having acute influenza illness, and then taken to the hospital and eventually died on the operating table because of complications. 




5. Superman 

Who the hell do not know about the rumors about the movie Superman curse ...? It was rumors about the curse of this movie already very well known and no secret ... hehe. = P 
Rumors about the curse that afflicts this movie, because the misfortune that befell those players for a few dekada films, ranging from a shattered career until death. 
Some people are rumored to be exposed to the curse include: 
1.) George Reeves 
George Reeves was Superman actor in the film Superman and the Mole Men and the TV series Adventures of Superman. He was found dead in 1959, the day before her wedding with a bullet hole shot in the head. His death was defined as suicide, but there were no fingerprints on the gun which was used as the murder weapon. So, there are 2 possibilities here, one he shot himself using his leg or two, he did not commit suicide but was murdered. 
2.) Christopher Reeve 
Although it has similarities with the last name of George Reeves, they had no blood relationship, but equally unlucky. After experiencing success in four Superman films, he fell from a horse that ditungganginya in 1995, suffered paralysis of limbs below the neck. Reeve died on October 10, 2004 from heart failure. 
3.) Marlon Brando 
Marlon Brando's famous in his role as Don Vito in The Godfather Carleone and play as Jor-El from Superman's father in the film Superman (1978) experienced some problems after playing in the film. In May 1990, his son, Christian shot and killed Dag Drollet, the lover of Christian's half sister, Cheyenne Brando. Cheyenne himself died in 1995 due to suicide by hanging himself from depression since the death of her lover. Brando later retreated from the glitzy world of Hollywood, and in his late career of public attention because of suffering from severe obesity. He died on July 1, 2004, with a diagnosis of death hidden for privacy reasons. 
4.) John F. Kennedy 
Ok, John F. Kennedy was never played in the movie Superman, but it was reported that in 1963, the U.S. Presidency staff to accept and approve Superman comic story in which the story, the Hero of persuading the president to pay more attention to Physical Health. 4. Atuk 

Atuk is a film adaptation of the novel in 1963, The Incomparable Atuk written by Mordecai Richler. The picture on the side is a picture of the novel. Why not a film image displayed? yes, because the film itself only to the production stage and was never released because of misfortunes that befall the characters. Atuk itself is a comedy movie about a hunter from the Eskimos who came to New York. 
The first victim of the curse of this movie is John Belushi, who after reading the film script is very interested and enthusiastic to play a leading role in the film, but soon thereafter died of an overdose. 
The next victim adalam Sam Kinison who played a leading role to replace Belushi. He has been filmed at least one scene for this movie, but then do not get along with the script and decided to get out of this film production. In 1992, Kinison died in a car accident. 
In 1994, actor John Candy was approached to play the leading role, replacing two previous ill-fated actor. Candy was reading the script of the film when he died suddenly of a heart attack on March 4, 1994. 
In 1997, another candidate for the main actor of this film hit by the curse. Chris Farley, who idolized actor John Belushi, agreed to play a role in this film. Then what happens? Like Belushi, he died in December 1997 due to an overdose. In 1998, a friend of Chris Farley died of a named Phil Hartman was murdered by his wife. It was claimed that before Farley died, he gave the movie script Atuk at Hartman and offers a supporting role to him.

3. Rosemary's Baby 
 
Rosemary's Baby is a film directed by Roman Polanski in 1968 is a horror / thriller that tells the story of a woman from Manhattan who married a member of the cult of Satanists. 
This film composer died of a brain malfunction, by chance one of the characters are told in the film died of the same thing. This film's producer, William Castle, kidney disease at the time of production of this film, but did not cause his death. He himself died in 1977 of a heart attack.

Did you mean Marilyn Manson? No, I'm not a typo. For those who do not know, Charles Manson is a criminal kingpin, heads a community or gang which he called "Manson Family". Manson is disappointed with the rejection of Terry Melcher, had "family member" to go to Melcher's house (which is now occupied by the family Polanski) and killed everyone who was there. Sharon Tate, the baby still in her womb, and 4 others died horribly in the event since being stabbed over and over and over with brutal. 
When the incident, Polanski was in London, therefore she survived the brutal incident. He continued his career as a director, to achieve success, even in 2004 won an Oscar through his film The Pianist. However, Polanski was accused of sexual harassment and rape of minors. Maybe he can blame the curse of the movie Rosemary's Baby, but the curse does not constitute rich material that is strong enough defense in the court = P 
Another coincidence, named Charles Manson brutally murder plan was "Helter Skelter" is taken from the title song of The Beatles. Several years passed after that incident, John Lennon died because of killed in front of the hotel called The Dakota. The hotel is also used in some scenes in the film Rosemary's Baby. 




2. The Conqueror 

The Conqueror is a 1958 epic film produced by Howard Hughes with John Wayne as the stars, where the main character in this film is Gengis Khan (aka Temujin). What? Gengis Khan? yes yes ... ... you are not misreading this film tells the story of Gengis Khan, a la Wild Wild West. 
The film itself is less successful, losing money from the commercial side and sharp criticism from film critics (Regarded as one of the worst movies in the era of the 1950s). 
But the curse of the movie is not on its failure to achieve success, but through a series of events that constantly occur during the production of this film and continue until the completion of the film. 
Some events include sudden flood that nearly killed all the crew of the film. Then the main actress in this film, Susan Hayward, was attacked by a Black Panther. Fortunately she did not die in the panther attack. 
Location filming is located in the Nevada desert, St. George, Utah. It was claimed that when shooting for the film, all cast and crew should sunbathe ria for 13 weeks on the air temperature 50 degrees Celsius. That's enough? Not yet .... Taukah you if the location shooting for this film is about 137 miles from the area named by the U.S. Government as the Nevada Test Site, Operation Upshot-Knothole? 
What was that place? That place is a place of intensive nuclear testing by the United States. 1. The Omen (1976)
